Try and meet at the same time/day of the week when the group is able to do so. Preparation is always useful, even prior to when the study session begins. Double-check that you’ve finished all assigned homework. Look over the list of problems to be studied during that meeting. Attending without a basic understanding of the material would probably be a waste of your and other peoples’ valuable time. Every person from Marine Academy of Science and Technology should be able to bring some capability to the group. If most of your sessions continue only one member leading the discussion all the time, then you may as well get a tutor. When you do lead the group, you need to reinforce what you have reviewed and, usually, it will help the the other members of the group.
