It will help to try to meet at or around the the same time/day of the week as much as possible. Preparation is always critical, even prior to when the group meets. Make sure that you’ve finished all assigned homework. Prepare yourself with the checklist of topics that will be studied for that day’s meeting. Attending without preparing could waste your and other peoples’ valuable time. Everyone should be able to offer expertise to the study group. If the bulk of your sessions carry on with only one member teaching the study session every time, then you may as well get a tutor from DeVry University and Keller Graduate School of Management. When you do take on a teaching role at the meeting, you should emphasize what you know and, usually, it will benefit the group. Nancy Haverford began her educational by teaching classes full of high school students about how to prepare for college in different US academic institutions. She has also provided hints on searching for examples of admissions essays, especially among the students who must produce excellent essays to take the emphasis off of less than spectacular performance prior to college.
