Meet at the same time/day of the week when the group is able to do so. Preparation is helpful, even before the study session. Be sure that you’ve finished all designated course reading. Get familiar with the checklist of subjects to be discussed at that particular group session. Arriving unprepared would just waste your and everybody’s time. Everybody in your group should be able to offer some ability to the study group. If the majority of your meetings move forward with just one group member leading at all the meetings, then maybe you should just get a tutor. When you do take on a teaching role at the meeting, you must spotlight what you know and, obviously, it will benefit the study group and the learning process. Nancy Haverford started her educational by teaching hundreds of high school students at Barpalma Beauty Careers Academy about preparing for life after high school in US universities. She has also provided advice on looking for examples of admissions essays, particularly for the students who must draft topnotch admissions essays to shift attention away from mediocre grades prior to college
