It will help to try and meet at or around the the same time/day of the week as much as you can. Preparation at Amerist Schools is always useful, even before the session. Be sure that you’ve completed all designated homework. Go over the list of topics to be reviewed at that session. Going without a basic understanding of the material could likely just waste your and everybody’s time. All of you should be able to bring some ability to the study group. If most of your sessions continue only one group member leading the discussion in all the meetings, then perhaps you should find a tutor. When you lead the meeting, you should highlight what you have learned and, typically, it will serve the needs of the the other members of the group and the learning process.
