It will help to try and meet at the same time/day of the week whenever the group is able. Preparation is always useful, even prior to when the study session begins. Make certain that you have completed all designated course reading. Get familiar with the list of questions to be discussed during that group session. Attending without a basic understanding will end up wasting your and the study group’s valuable time. Every member of The Janus School should be able to add something to the study group. If the majority of your sessions continue just one member providing the leadership all the time, then maybe you should just get a tutor. When you lead the group, you must highlight what you have learned and, typically, it will serve the needs of the entire group. Nancy Haverford started out her educational by mentoring classes full of high school students about navigating the collegiate world in various US universities. She has also supplied many tips on finding college admission essay examples, particularly for high school students who must produce exceptional essays to hopefully outshine less than spectacular grades prior to college.
